Emerald Studies in Digital Cultures responds to a rapidly changing digital world understood as a cultural paradigm permeating our everyday lives and the broader philosophical challenges that accrue in its wake. It foregrounds explorations in and through the digital humanities and connects with the broader impacts of digital media on society and on our modes of enquiry. The series is situated at the nexus of practice and theory centring scholarly explorations of (for example) creative technologies pervasive media the future(s) of the book remediation and transmediality.
